11:00am: Madcap “POP ART” Balloon Performance Arist – Allynn Gooen
Heralded as the originator of Balloon Story Theatre, Allynn instead of simply twisting balloons into creatures for kids, uses balloons to turn kids into creatures! Join us for an an unforgettable and truly unique performance with a bang, a twist, and a POP!

Goowin’s Balloowins captures the imagination of children and adults alike. In addition to his own television show, Allynn Gooen has appeared on Nickelodeon, Shining Time Station, Fred Penner’s Place, and at countless theatres and festivals around the world.

1:00pm: Tuscan travels inspired cooking demonstration by local vegetarian Chef Angela Rivera.
Inspired by her recent trip to Tuscany, Chef Angela will prepare  Wild Mushroom Bruscetta & Pistachio Pesto Pasta (gluten-free available) using ingredients from Dan Madura Farm, Wave Hill Breads and Deliciously Alicia’s.

Rivera is a graduate of The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, consultant for Joy Bauer on the Today show and enjoys teaching children and parents how to eat healthy together. Chef Rivera, along with her partner Anthony Accomando co-own Halo & Horns Catering at Union Arts Center, where they will be hosting “A Feast of Thrones” pop-up dinner on July 15th.


diRiso Risotto Balls (Porcini, Basil & Bolognese) returns bringing along handmade sandwiches (cappacola, arugula, fresh mozz & truffle oil on focaccia with roasted red peppers & eggplant), fresh basil pesto and their own fresh mozzarella.

Anna Maria’s Foods introduces select artisan cheeses, including Von Trapp Farm’s famous Mt. Alice from Vermont (a camembert-style cheese with a bloomy rind made with organic whole milk).

Babka Paradise will have cheese blintzes this week along with their knishes, scones and delicious gooey babka.

Southtown Farms now has a wide variety of steak cuts available (all grass-fed) from their pasture.

Bombay Emerald Chutney Co. has a new Royal Coconut Chutney as part of their sweet & savory condiment line-up.  Mix it up and try it on a knish.

Deep Roots Farm: Located in Hudson NY on 12 acres, their mission is to provide local communities with access to high-quality, nutritious fruits and vegetables through means of organic and sustainable crop production.
