The “Athens” stuffed bread (Maria’s Gourmet Edibles), Roasted tomato soup with salsa verde & crispy parmesan (Roost), Truffled Mac n’ Cheese (Mimi’s Plate), Caribbean apple jerk BBQ pork (La Talaye), Roasted corn soup (NoCo), Warm Moroccan mint tea (Nahmia et Fils), & Fresh ham steaks on sale for $6/lb (Upstate’s Creations).
 

Pre-Orders:

The “End Zone”: We will sample and begin taking orders on this special stuffed bread in time for your upcoming Superbowl party.  The “End Zone” is stuffed with braised grass-fed angus beef, beer simmered bratwurst, caramelized red peppers & onions, provolone, mozzarella and cheddar.
Fresh Hams: Order fresh hams (nitrate free) from Upstate’s Creations and pick them up at The SOUK this Sunday by e-mailing Jessica at upstatescreations.ny@gmail.com.

Local produce from the black  dirt  region of NY including kale, swiss chard, lettuces, arugula, spinach, potatoes, 15 – 20 varieties of exotic mushrooms including maitake, broccoli/cauliflower (while supplies last), garlic, onions, eggs & more.
Raw milk cow, sheep & goat cheese.
International Cuisine with a Caribbean twist.  This week:
  • Caribbean Apple Jerk Pork
  • Rice & beans
  • Green lentil coconut-ginger soup (vegan)
  • Pickles
  • Caribbean slaw, marinated chickpeas, beets & onions.
  • Quinoa salad
  • Caribbean patties stuffed with organic local veggies or beef.

This week’s feature is the“Athens”:  Goat cheese, fig preserves, caramelized onions deglazed with chardonnay & a touch of rosemary.

Tallman Beach & Pool Club
Funded by Billy Procida, a Piermont resident, the Tallman Beach and Pool Club will open May 2016. Sign up at The “SOUK” and receive up to 20% off a seasonal pass.
